Default Is Pryzbilla in the future?

Hey

I must self disclose... Raptors fan and Toronto native.

The thread isnt meant to be a provocation...more a question

I assume Ogden is te future now... meaning JP is the past.

I "think" JP has 2 more years left at what 8 million each? Am I close?

Toronto of course is looking for toughness and de....we have cap space assuming we let S Marion walk - or sign and trade to match ?

Does Marion fit a need?

Additionally with Roy Aldrige and the rookie contracts coming up for renewal - you must be planning for cap sapce in the next 2-3 years.

So bottom line - is JP considered untouchable? or could a deal be done during the draft?

We need him for his years, leadership, toughness... oden has a LOT to learn to be what he can be in this league

But if you are talking about calderon... well I'm listening

Pryzbilla has 2 years left at 6.8 and 7.4.

Given Oden's injury history it is unlikely Pryzbilla will be traded and even if that does occur the Blazers will need to find a backup that can move into a starting role just in case ... and the perfect fit for that would be ... Pryzbilla.

He will remain a Blazer.

Przybilla would be expendable if Oden's future was more for sure, but as it is, we still don't know enough about Oden's future and we rely so much on Przybilla's defense that it would be tough to give him up.

As for how would Marion fit, talent wise he would be fine, but I'm not sure if the team or fans want him because he has demonstrated a "me first" attitude in the past.

I'm with Myth - I've proposed Marion trade ideas in the past and I'm truly no longer interested - he's a gifted player, but not a "franchise" player as he seems to feel he is. As for Joel, I have NO desire to deal him!!! He's a strong veteran who holds his own, doesn't take crap, but usually keeps a level head all at the same time.
