He has 4 pts on 2-10 shooting the last 2 games with 0 assists. He is also getting killed by the opposition.

He looks really AWFUL out there and Chauncey must be licking his lips..

You think Shannon Brown can take over the starting position? I'll say he's proven he can play it well, but it might take a bit longer for Phil to change his starting point guards in the middle of the playoffs? You never know...

fisher can do a better job on chauncey and atkins then the speed guards that the rockets have

This should belong in the laker forum, but yeah... he had a bad night. I'm sure he is exhausted these last two series, he's been playing catchup. Williams is hard to guard, especially when they both know each others moves. Brooks has been playing like an allstar these last two series and has twice the speed. All i can say is

good job for Fishers effort.

Have you been watching the series? Shannon Brown has been GREAT for the lakers this last month.

IMO Shannon is the best all-around PG on the team. Farmar is a better play-maker but Shannon is stronger and plays much better defense. He is also a more versatile scorer..

We're going to have to let Chauncey get his points, Denver is really a streaky team. Once they get going, they really GET GOING. Their bench is better than the lakers (lakers bench = overrated), but we will dominate them in the paint. If we can play like we did tonight (5/12), we will not have a problem.

Phil would never disrespect Fisher by benching him, until Derek comes to him and tells him that Shannon is a better man for the starting role.

Fish has done so much for this franchise during the Kobe/Shaq era and has hit so many big shots, even though he is struggling this post-season, I still think he will come through before the season is over.

Brown will get get a lot of burn against Denver because of his lenght and hops..

But its probably a definite that Fish does not lose his starting job..

He will start till the end of the playoffs (for the Lakers). He won't start next year.

Yeah probabaly lol.

But I agree Fish is better suited to guarding somebody like Chauncey Billups than Aaron Brooks. Since the Lakers 3 peat years, Derek Fisher has had problems with quick little guards.
