lol. It is because of silly posts like this that I typed the following text in another thread earlier today....(somebody didn't like it one bit and used the rep system to let me know about it. But when I read stuff like what the OP wrote I know it was more accurate than I would like to be.)
"...And with the 14th pick in the 2009 draft...the Phoenix Suns select Eric Everhard."
A slight sound of booing from the crowd, but a mostly positive reaction from Suns fans. However, some fans are adamant that Kerr is once again destroying what was once the most exciting team in the league.
"My-Uzi-is-Black" at Insidehoops says "Yeah, he alright for a white-boy, but dumb-ass Kerr should have picked my man Mr. Marcus."
"Da-King-of-Bling-Bling" echoed that sentiment when he stated "the Suns need someone that can keep up with Amare. Yo, how he gonna keep up wit' da big-boys? I mean this aint some fresh-off-the-bus-from-Iowa and straight to da porn-set $hit, dis is da big-time. Hoes be as fine as Kobe's wife ya know?"
Many others at Insidehoops including "Lil Wayne > Yo Fav Rapper NE-Day" added that "this be an athletes game, ya know? Everhard ain't gon get da same elevation on his pop-shots in da NBA. Dey should have traded up and picked Lexxxinton Steele. D-dayum! Another wasted draft."
Steve kerr is certainly no stranger to criticism, but even he admits to being stunned by some of the recent comments directed towards his choice. The Suns resident brain surgeon says; "Wow. Being the GM of this team is tougher than getting MJ to trust me to take the game-winning shot.
We just felt there were some character issues with both Mr. Marcus and Lexxxington, and we didn't see those same concerns with Eric. We are confident that we made the right choice and that Everhard will give us more length around the hole."
