yeah i have two friends in vegas right now, hes the only one winning. the other one is a girl whos dad is filthy rich so she just plays for fun. buys into 5k and 10k buy in tournaments, makes me sick haha

I've read somewhere that 90% of poker players lose more money than they win.. So basically, the top 10% are raking in the bottom 90%'s money and that's why there's so much to go around.. But, being able to beat your buddy in a game with the boys at your crib is nothing like playing tournament poker. There are a lot of differences that you have to learn and adjust to. So yeah, it can be done, and it can be very profitable, but it's not easy.

I bet like 89% of that lost money goes to the casinoes and web sites that literally do rake in everyone's money on each hand...

the real people getting super rich are the owners of Full Tilt and Harrahs...

hell even most of the famous "pros" get all their real money from Full Tilt paying them...



the casinoes always win...

Easier said than done. Not only do you have to be patient and lucky, but you also need money to support this occupation. Prepare to lose and lose BIG.
