Default We better trade up in the NBA Draft!

Harden, Derozan, Evans are all Top 8 in most mock drafts which isn't looking that good for us.

We need one of those 3 guards or else this draft will be waste for us because all three of those players are the kind of guards that will possible by all stars in the future.

By the looks of it right now those 3 players will be gone and we must trade up to at least 5 - 6 if we want a chance at any of those players.

Could we package our 9th pick and say Kapono, Graham, or Roko? for a higher pick.

What you guys think? i honestly don't wanna lose one of those 3 players this year there mostly going to be good guards with great upside .......

.......

Dont think it will happen....

Even if only 10% of the rumors are true... it would appear none of them want to tryout or sign with Toronto.

Add Curry to that list.

Has UCONN looks to be droping?

Maybe we take the top rated guy even if he is a C or point guard and try to trade down for a package of players....

3 for 2

Why post the same idea in a thread you created about what to do with the 9th pick then create this one?

Where did you get this information now where does it say none of them want to work out for Toronto? Especially Evans and Derozan who could fall in that range. Harden I could see...but not the other two.

Draft SG this summer and Sign Small Forward this summer

PG: Calderon
SG: Tyreke Evans ( 9th Pick NBA DRAFT ) ( or Harden, Derozan, drops )
SF: Shawn Marion ( Big Free Agent signing ) ( Anyone else? )
PF: Chris Bosh
C : Andrea Bargnani

That is a very good starting line up but i still think Bosh would fit better with a Defensive Center beside him to get the rebounds and do the dirty work.

ugly lineup. What changed? The SG slot for a "rookie" Parker would look better in-place of Tyreke Evans. Calderon needs to move IMO. Shawn Marion isn't going to sign so I heard. Bosh / Bargnani.. well that's the core B.C wants. If anything we haven't improved with this line up, nor are we advancing in the playoffs.

Very ugly.....ugly ugly ugly....that would not be a good lineup....We need to have our draft pick come off the bench....We can't automatically start him.....

I don't expect many changes for the Raps.

Heres what I believe will happen

-Sign Delfino
-Sign POB(potential)
-Sign Marion
-Sign Parker or a vet SG
-With 9th pick select Demar Derozan -a guy who learned defense at USC.
-Get a late first round pick for 3 mill
-Pick a post (Dejuan Blair)- Tough Gritty Post or a wing (Austin Daye)
-If we don't pick a post sign a solid Center-Joel Anthony
-Sign Vet PG (Anthony Carter)

Line up
Calderon/Ukic/Carter
Delfino/Parker/Kapono
Marion/DeRozan/Kapono/(Daye)
Bosh/(Blair)/Hump
Barganni/Anthony/POB

You might think it sounds dumb but... We need more Girt and Delfino and Marion Gives us that Grit. DEerozan will give us a slasher. Blair gives us a lot of grit in the post to me it'll be a solid lineup.

I don't expect much changes either, but that lineup doesn't seem much better than this years. If Carlos Delfino is our starter at the 2, then we're in trouble. Don't really see how signing Anthony Carter helps us out all that much. I know some people want an experienced vet at backup PG but I'm not sure AC is the way to go. Also, I don't really see what Joel Anthony brings to the team that Jake Voshkul or Pops don't already.

I would rather have Pops than Joel Anthony but he is Canadian and a very talented shot blocker. Pops provides more rebounding and energy though.

I thought we'd better trade up?
