Well yesterday the Nuggets worked out like 30 players most of them were point guards and the others were swingmen. Do any of you know who the players were? I only know that A.J. Price from UConn was there.....

June 1-3 Damion James SF 6'7, 230 Junior Texas -
June 1-3 Gani Lawal PF 6'9, 233 Sophomore Georgia Tech -
June 1-3 Eric Maynor PG 6'2, 180 Senior VCU Andy Miller
June 1-3 Patrick Mills PG 6'0, 180 Sophomore Saint Mary's -

Eric Maynor and Patty Mills would probably be my choice out of that list but we'd have to move up to get them.

I'm thinking that list could be a little off, because alot of those players are mostly projected in the 1st round. But maybe Denver does plan on moving up

Jeff teague is by far the class of that group and with holiday can't be had the next guy to trade into the late lottery is teague- I think he is either the 4th or 5th best gaurd behind holiday, rubio, and jennings real close to curry

The others on that list I'd like (especially at 34) would be calathes or mills- mills as far as the really small guys is better than flynn or lawson its just that he went to st mary's

This is the year that the nugs need to get into the draft and all the best fits for the nugs are pg's

I really like Nick Calathes also has some good size for a PG, but I was almost postive that he was going to Europe or something.

That could work, but I'd rather keep LK rather than just get a late first round pick. If we were going to move up decently high then I'd go for it, but this draft looks pretty weak.

I hope we do move up into the first round somehow, we need to get a good young point guard, to be honest with you guys I'm not sure how many years left Chauncey has and this is a pretty nice group of point guards I've seen.

How would you guys feel if we did draft Tyler Hansborough?

I'd be very happy if we moved up and got a good PG prospect.

Hansborugh? Ahh I wouldn't want him if we moved up but if some way if fell to us in the 2nd round(Highly unlikely) I would be pleased. Seems like he's going to be a good hustle player off the bench witch always helps.

^^^Hansborough will probably be a bust much like JJ Redick type of player. He's got length and ability to score, but I dont see him as an NBA player that can compete with the rest of them.....but I may be wrong.

What about shooting guards? I mean Dahntay is good defensively, but not offensively..JR imo seems like a player we need from the bench, since Karl may not be pleased with starting him. Marcus Thornton from LSU is a guy I been watching, and Wayne Ellington can shoot the three.

I totally disagree that we need jr coming from the bench- what we need from the bench is a player who brings scoring but also a lot better ball handling- a pg type of 6th man- I think jr would be helped by not asking him to be the ball handler and creator for others off the bench- have jr playing more wing than gaurd and he would make less mistakes and be more positive for the team- don't get fooled into not realising that jr's game mixes very very well w carmelo and nene's and he should be in the starting linup

I haven't seen thorton, I think ellington is very overrated and will not be a very good nba player- sg is about the last priority in the draft(after sf) but if nugs did go sg at 34 I think its the other unc guy that is the best fit- danny green is big, athletic, a good defender and will be able to be a shooter- imo he could be a better bruce bowen and could possibly be around at 34

Still think the draft should be pg

Alright guys the draft is nearing, lets place our names here on who we think we will get....remember trades and etc. are welcomed.

Keep in mind that your pick at 34 has to be reasonable unless you think that we'll trade up to get someone, lets get this started....

I say we keep this pick at 34 and get us a point guard in A.J. Price

Next.....
