Why are the Celtics planning to trade Rajon Rondo? He's already a proven playoffs performer, and one of the best defensive PG's in the League.

Agreed.

I could legitimately see the Rockets moving up to the #2 but I dont see Boston pulling the trigger when they already have one of the best PG's in the business.

Giving up Rondo for Rubio's draft rights is an extremely risky move

giving up Brooks or an injury prone, questionable future McGrady makes much more sense

Iam from Oklahoma and I hope we can somehow manage to get Rubio. I think it would be good for our young team. We can move westbrook to the 2 guard and we should be alright.
