Dwight Howard can only improve on those little things on offense. He'll never be a player you can run through offensively. The only thing he can be better at on offense is a better finisher and that's about it. The only way he can be better at finishing is by leaving the ball up high. That's really it.
He's still the 2nd best center in the NBA and a Top 10 player though, It will only be time before he becomes a Top 5 player.
I agree, and he's only 22 so definitely a crazy high ceiling.
And I do think he has the potential to improve quite a bit offensively, but I feel focusing on that 1 thing will give him so much... it will cut down on the amount of times he's stripped and giving him higher chances for 3 point plays.
But it seems like that was something that should have been pointed out to him in the game film and learned from.
Hopefully Pat Ewing goes to work with him heavily for the summer and he is committed.
160+ playoff games is what he brings to the table. he is an asset to phil and his system. you don't relinquish that for anybody. if the season falls apart it will be considered but you don't do such adjustments this far deep.
