Default Will Magic fans ever forgive Courtney Lee?

Let's just say Magic loose in game 7. Would you forgive him for missing probably the easiest game-winner ever?

I don't understand how that shot was easy at all. He was a last resort option on a lob play with .6 seconds left in regulation, he shot it over a 7 foot tall power forward with his arms also extended up in the air. Everyone acts like he missed a wide open, normal circumstances layup, but he didn't.

That play was clearly run for Lee, though I agree with everything else. Not an easy shot by any stretch of the imagination.

You can go back through the entire game and blame any player who missed a shot in that case. I believe the OP was referring to the lob play, was he not?

I would love to see you make that shot in one of the biggest games of you life, with the best player on the planet guarding you, and with only .6 seconds on the clock

Well to be fair, they did miss 5 FTs in a row that game. Blame could go all around.

Looking at the play again, yeah you're right. It looks like he was the main option in that play.

Yeah, the more I watched that play the more I noticed that when he caught the ball it was at a bad angle, nearing close to behind the backboard...wasnt as easy as people made it seem, certainly not a 'gimme'

They will hate Gasol for goaltending the shot by shaking the backboard.

How many rookies have to make a last sec play in the NBA Finals. Not many.
