If only the league kept blocked shot records in it's entire history...

Russell would probably have that record.

Spoken like a true lakers fan

Seriously, it's ****ing impressive, whether Russell would have blocked more or not.

Give credit where credit is due.

I'm not a Laker fan.

And I am giving credit where credit is due. Just because they didn't keep records doesn't mean it never happened. Hakeem probably isn't the real all time leader in blocks, and Howard probably doesn't have the real record.

What was the record before and who got it?

But impressive nonetheless

Either way, does it matter? We can get into the arguement of eras which would result in Howard likely having 20+ blocks. It is simply irrelevant. Howard has the record and it should be recognized.

He's a monster defensively... Though in this playoffs I'd not say that, in these finals, in this game 4 particularly, he's been a monster.

Now offensively he needs to get better, it seems he wants it, but the fact he wants and he's training for it doesn't mean he'll BE it.

It's still a great thing he did. Shaquille O'Neal had several Finals to have that number of blocks and Dwight, in his first one, already have the record of blocks...

Default Derek Fisher Appreciation Thread

If It weren't for him, the series would be tied 2-2.

Fisher was clutch all night long. And he has 3 CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS LOOKING FOR HIS 4TH.
