Default Vince Carter

How much do you think he still has in the tank?

I know last year he was named captain and averaged all star numbers
21-5-5

I think overall VC will have a good season not only with stats but with getting others involved and helping out the younger players.

What do you guys think?

He can still create his own shot, his passing ability is only getting better, and his leadership is magnificent. I think he still has plenty left in his tank. The only thing that will slow him down is probably an serious injury.

agree... he's not someone we'll need to worry about. he's turned into a consummate professional at this stage of his career.

He's at the point now where he isn't really relying on his athleticsm too much to get the job done so I think he can be a productive player for awhile longer. He's become a more cerebral player over the years.

mo williams over carter, right?

if any player is paying more for doing a series of jaw-dropping things in his early years, such as jumping over a 7-footer to dunk, unleashing a variety of sensational new moves in the dunk contest, and making alonzo mourning look like a ragdoll trying to defend the hoop, i'd like to see that person pointed out to me.

just shows how much the average NBA fan is a drooling idiot in certain areas.
or am i being too harsh?

Carter has about 4 more competitive years left up in that tank. He's cool...just develop CDR at the position to take over when carter retires. But for right now. Carter is that dude and will always be that dude. Age is mental people mental. If the player really wants it and his body allows, he can proly tear it up till about 39 or so. If the other players around him step it up, we dont have to worry about carter.
