To answer the original question, I think Wolves are likely to pick an unknown European with the 28th pick, and that could be considered as "a total nobody" at least in the short run. That's Minnesota's 3rd pick in the first round, and even if you had three lottery picks, you'd struggle to pick that many player you'd want to give serious minutes right away (you can play one or maybe two rookies from this class, but three is a stretch). The most sensible thing to do at #28 could be to pick someone who won't come to NBA right away, but shows some promise. Casspi is gone by then (and might want to go to NBA right away), but Jebrenko, Kravtsov or Norel might be possible picks.

Whoever takes Hasheem Thabeet

He's Greg Oden minus the muscles.

He's going to be pushed around nightly and somebody is going to draft him just because of his size. Yes he put up good numbers in college but how often did he face a center who is over 6'9"?

In the NBA he'll have to face centers 6'11" to 7'6" on a nightly basis and 95% of them are over 245 pounds.

I mean, do you really want to draft a guy who was dominated by a 6'6" guy?
