I live in Denver and I love it here, so obviously, Denver. If I had to move though, Seattle would be very close to the top. Two of the healthiest cities in the country, great mountains, etc. Way more sunshine in Denver though.
Apparently late 70s and early 80s it was a major problem but now our air complies with EPA. Colorado had the first emission testing for cars too which I'm sure played a huge role in clearing the skies. However, there are still days where smog is visible because of the disgusting factories right outside the city. Having the mountains right there I'm sure keeps some of the smog around too.

Wow I didn't realize it was still this bad one some days... this picture was taken in 2007 and this occurred like three or four days in a row I believe...
When the sun is out, Seattle is the most beautiful place in the US (Well, on the West Coast anyway). I know people who have millions and could live anywhere when they retire....they chose Seattle
If you like outdoors, this is the place to be. Trees, water, and PLENTY to do. Fishing,hiking,camping....tons to do around town. What more can you ask for?
Another reason....the surrounding cities (Eastside and Westside) have plenty to do as well. Tons of history here...lots to learn. Good stuff.
One more reason...the money is here. Many of the nations top companies are located here (Microsoft,Boeing,Amazon,Nordstrom,Starbucks.Costc o) as well as many other companies you may be familiar with (Coinstar,Nintendo,Safeco). Lots of opportunites here.....
Seattle is really nice. Lot's of good lookin ladies there. The way I see it is if you like to ski you'll pick Denver. You'd think that but Seattle has skiing communities nearby. Plus they're by an ocean. Plus they are near Vancouver which is a beautiful city.
