His stat line doesn't sound too bad (41 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, 4 steals) until you look that it took him 47 shots to get there.

You are so dumb. Sorry to be so harsh but I'm sick of reading your posts.

Anyways here are the 3 games that Iverson took 40 shots or more:

we should go ask someone from that blue and gold laker blog to write a lengthy piece explaining why that performance is utterly amazing and better than Jordan going crazy with the flu in the finals

So you are comparing a game where Iverson missed 19 shots, to a game that Kobe missed 30 shots??

D-bag.

Oh and by the way, of the 50 point games that have occurred since 1986, as far as field goal percentage..:
Michael Jordan's games include #1, #5, #8, #17, #21, #22, etc.

Kobe Bryant's games include

10 of the 30 worst

7 of the 15 worst

The 3 worst

Shooters have off nights, that's true. However, when you have an off night, you don't continue to chuck 47 shots. Perhaps try to attack the basket, pass more, or just not shoot? The fact is a smarter player with the skills Kobe has realizes when his shot isn't falling and does whatever else is necessary to be more effective, not just continue to jack up bricks. This is why Kobe isn't as smart of a decision maker as he's made out to be. He often times tries to shoot his way out of a slump.

You would have a point, If Shaq was playing in the game and If a Celtics players torched him, because not only did Iverson suck shooting wise he also got torched by Marbury.
