Default Lakers tonite on TV! WOOHOO!

KCAL 9 in So Cal!

Go Lakers! I am watching the pregame now!

ADDED:

Ok, the Lakers need to work on their FREE throws! Its the first quarter right now!

Additional:

Second quarter - I really don't like Brian Cook's game! He does not look any better than last year! (yes, I know its early in the season, but......)
4:40 2 Quarter - Devin Green with Sky Put Back Dunk! Nice!

Farmar 3-Pointer!!!

Pinnock just got major air on a slam dunk! Nice! Farmar is in the game now. Bynum had a good second quarter, as well as Walton.

Farmar - 3 Pointer, lots of energy.
Turiaf good defense and scoring!
Green gets air on a slam dunk put back!

This unit looks very impressive. Very up tempo game.

Farmer just did a great reverse layup and finished a three point play! LA 51 - Sonics 49.

Great behind the pass from Farmar to Turiaf and then to Devin Green for an attempted dunk which resulted in a fowl! 1:15 left in period. Lakers 53-51.

Sasha not playing tonite. Good opportunity to show the other players off.

Halftime score: Sonics 55 - Lakers 53

In the first half, the starting Lakers team looked flat. It was Kwame, Odom, Evans, Smush and V-Rad. It seemed that they were the least comfortable with each other. When the second and third team players came in, they played a more up tempo game and seemed to be more comfortable with that. At one point, the Lakers were down by 10 points (or was it 12?), and the Lakers up tempo pace got them back into the game.

Farmar had 7 points in 6 minutes in the first half.

Start of 3rd Quarter:

Aron Mckee playing... drove to the basket, and fouled...

Ray Allen looks good.. he's shredding the Laker defense.

Vlad-Rad looks way off tonite... just clanked one off the back board and in another play, missed a simple layup!

58-57 Lakers on nice drive by Lamar... 9:12 left in 3rd Quarter.

Vlad another long range brick... wow, im surprised.

8:14 - Kwame great move to the basket, score! Lakers 60 - 59.

7:27 - Vlad-rad yet another long range bomb miss! And then blocked on a layup. WOW, he looks really bad.

7:05 - 60-60 (foul on Vlad-Rad)

6:32 - Lamar great break away pass to Vlad-Rad, layup blocked but he was fouled. 61-60 Lakers. He missed the second free throw.

6:06 - Kwame dunk - assist from Williams 63-62 Lakers.

5:45 - Lamar Odom layup in traffic..coast to coast! sweet! 65-62 Lakers.

Timeout - mini Kobe Interview on TV... the knee is doing better every day... Kobe is pleased with their effort. Kobe mentions www.kb24.com. Kobe wants to play badly!

67-65 Sonics.. bad play by Lakers... Laker timeout. It seems to me that the core Laker shift is struggling. Turiaf in the game now.

4:10 in 3rd Quarter - The 24 second shot clock is actually broken causing a game delay.

Great finger roll by Turiaf!

69-67 Seattle

3:10 in 3rd Quarter - Von Wafer in!

71 - 69 Seattle.. Devin Green fouls Rashard Lewis.. continuation.

72-69 Seattle.

2:40 - Devin Green misses jump shot.

2:16 Ray Allen drives to the basket and is fouled.

74-69 Sonics.

Devin Green misses another open look.

Brian Cook misses a jump shot.

1:25 - Devin Green fouls Rashard Lewis.

76-69 Seattle

1:07 - Turiaf drives to basket and is fouled. Bricks first free throw. Bricks second free throw! Dang. 76-69 Seattle.

Steal by Turiaf to Devin Green for dunk! 76-73 Seattle.

Nice block by Devin Green on some help defense.

End of 3rd Quarter 76-73 Seattle.

Beginning of 4th Quarter

Farmar, Turiaf, Walton, Cook and Pinnock to begin 4th quarter.

Charging foul on Turiaf.

10:15 Brian Cook makes 3-Pointer 76-75 Seattle

9:45 Great assist by Farmar to Cook for jump shot. 77-76 Lakers.

78-77 Seattle on shot by Collison.

8:14 Foul on Farmar. Lakers now out of fouls. Not good.

Nice high off the glass layup by Turiaf! 79-78 Lakers.

Walton to Cook on fast break - 81-78 Lakers.

7:03 Collison Scores 81-80 Lakers.

Cook gets his face slammed on by Damien Wilkins. Foul too. 83-81 Seattle.

Cook jump shot - 83-83

5:55 Farmar blows layup... 85-83 Seattle.

5:28 Turiaf fouled... freethrows. Bricks first one! Geez! Makes second. 87-84 Seattle.

Steal by Farmar. Turiaf layup on fast break! Great pass by Farmar! Three point play opp. Turiaf bricks freethrow. 87-86 Lakers. Walton steal! Farmar dunk on fast break! 88-87 Lakers.

4:31 Nice short shot by Walton. 90-89 Lakers.

Collison goes around Walton. 91-90 Sonics.

Evans makes 3-Pointer. Farmar assist! 93-91 Lakers.

Walton turnover 93-93 Sonics. Layup by Collison.

Farmar fouled by Wilkens. Walton jumper scores!

2:26 95-95 - Collison scores in traffic.

1:59 Farmar assist to Cook - 3 Pointer! Nice pick and pop! 98-95 Lakers.

1:57 - TV Timeout. Dang, my hands are tired from typing!

Rebound Farmar on a long miss by Seattle.

100-95 Lakers with 1:15 left.

Turiaf layup! 102-95.

:56 Seconds left... Timeout Seattle.

:42.8 - 102-97 Lakers - Seattle ball. Another timeout.

:33 - 102-99 Lakers - Seattle scores on layup by Wilkins.

:10.2 Lakers throw ball away.. bad pass by Walton.

:9.8 - Foul on Lakers. Wilkins at the line. Makes first free throw. Makes second. 102-101 Lakers.

Laker Timeout.

Lakers just have to get the ball into play and hold onto the ball. If they get fouled, they have to make their free throws. Seattle is out of timeouts, but has a foul to give.

:8.7 - Brian Cook fouled. Seattle out of fouls.

Laker 20 second Timeout.

Walton to inbound the ball.

:6.2 - Turiaf is fouled. Thats not good as he is going to the line. Lets see if he makes both. He has 13 points. Makes first free throw!!! Makes Second!

Lakers 104 - Seattle 101

LAKERS WIN!!!!!

Farmar is owning all the Laker PGs, Turiaf looks great, Bynum looks great, Devin Green is looking good. Vlad Rad is hustling out there, Odom hasn't scored, Walton is a basketball genius, Kwame is struggling a bit, Smush hit 2 early threes, Evans is an athletic freak, Cook had too many turnovers. Lakers turned the ball over too much and shot poor from the free-throw line, half-time score is 55-53 Sonics.

That's a lot of commas for ya.

espn.com says the score is 48-47, but your post a long time ago says the Lakers are up 51 to something.
