that is a terrible idea. there is no way we are trading jefferson away

Also add the fact that Jefferson wanted to stay in Minny, whereas Bosh and Stoudamire will most likely bolt the first chance they get.

Not to mention Jefferson actually tries to play defense and rebound. Amare can't do that.

Yes, that is some VERY sick stuff. I love Rubio and Evans, they're prolly my two favorite players in the draft, along with Curry. Hopefully 2 of those 3 players go to 'sota, who is still my favorite Western Conference team.

That lineup would be fun to watch.

Such an excellent trade for the Wizards, and still a good trade for Minny.

The Wiz get to dump a few stiffs, gain a good young player in Foye to add to Anderson and McGee), and get a lights out shooter in Miller who can really make other teams pay for doubling up on any of their own 'big three'.

Minny takes on a couple of crappy deals that end this year (Thomas) or next (Songalia), but grab the 5th pick, which could easily allow them to move up and snag Rubio.

Minny should have a very nice young core and be able to build the right way. They also won't have any onerous long term contracts on the books, which should make adding pieces much easier. Things are definitely looking up.

Exactly Foye is very good but unless hes playing off the ball, he should not be starting because he can provide a bigger role and more versatility as a 6th Man Combo Guard.

Washington's smalls look really good right now, however they have an extremely thin/small frontcourt now. Etan Thomas was a solid big to have coming off of the bench because he provided solid defense and rebounds.

Well they have Blatche and Mcgee still off the bench.

If minesota trade Al Jefferson they should be banished to the NBDL

He is a superstar bigman, with a good head on his shouders and a great attitude towards the game, give him a good guard, secondary scoring option and a few solid role players and you have a playoff team

Most teams would give an arm and a leg for him

Songalia has a 5-mill dollar player option in '10.

that's not going to happen. He's their future and they're trying to build around Kevin Love and him.

The thing is, Al Jefferson seems like a vanilla type of player. Kind of like an Elton Brand. He'll get his double doubles but won't ever have or be what it takes to lead a team to a Championship. Kevin Love might end up being better than Al Jefferson. Time will tell.

The point being, the Wolves need a leader who has that extra something that they need to lead them a ring. That person is Ricky Rubio. They should trade their 6th, 18th, and 28th First Round Draft picks for #2 and then take Rubio.

That is too much. 5th or 6th, 18th and the 45th or 47th is probably what they would give up at them most. I think 6 and 18 will get the job done though.

Book it.

drafting hill would make no sense, they already have one good PF and one great one

they gotta get guards, supposedly they're still waiting on brewer, so i wouldnt be surprised to see curry/evans if they held on to the picks or harden/curry
