Long-term though? I don't know. If James Harden ends up falling to #5 then this might end up being a bad deal for Washington.
Get off the Harden bandwagon!!! Damn, dude...Washinton was staring at the guy for three months at the five slot and realized what I do -- he's not worth it. I have Evans, Flynn, T Will all higher on my draft board. Derozan is even with him, IMO.

Good trade for both teams.

For the Wizards, Miller can spread the floor for the Wizards. Let's see if Foye can do anything - so far I have been unimpressed. And the Wizards get rid of some other guys who are overpaid and didn't do much.

For Minnesota, they are cleaning out the locker room, which they need to do to change the culture of the team.

Flynn and Evans are arguable depending on what type of player you need. Derozan could end up being better but IMO, not worth the risk over Harden. Williams over Harden is just silly.

Well Mike Miller is 6-8 which who is taller than Caron Butler, their starting SF.

They should actually tighten things up and do another trade, imo.
I'm obviously thinking beyond next season. Wiz did this deal to unload Darius Songaila's player option in '10.

Its a chance Harden will be there @ 9 for the Raps. Take him and come talk to me in three years.

Randy Foye is strictly an average player and so is miller. i like this move as now the team can head in a completely different direction. dont be surprised if we moved up to #2 though

#5 and #18 for the second pick is enough for the Grizz, ya think?

I hope so but it won't happen. Realistically, IMO Harden will be a John Salmons-type player. Getting a good starter like that at #9 would be great in a draft like this.

A Salmons-type player is worth a top 10 selection?

That's actually decent, Memphis would like that.

I love how the wolves have 4 first round picks in what people are calling one of the worst drafts ever.
