note to self:

never make rumors about someone who is dead, but is alive.

I'm a much bigger fan of his pre-solo years, yeah. A lot of the stuff he put out on solo albums was...well, it was shit. A bunch of sappy, overpoppified garbage.

But don't you think he kind of redeemed himself during his late 80s resurgence?

They aren't among my favorites, but I like them.

What I don't like was crap like "My Father's Eyes," which God knows there was too much of that nonsense throughout his solo albums.

TBH, what redeems him to me is his live performances. I don't much care for a number of his albums as a whole, but yeah, I guess you could say that. I have his DVD from Montreux in '86 I believe it is, for the most part is phenomenal. Predictably, some of the "new" tracks suck, but he's fantastic in it and worth checking out.

Too bad, that's no where near me either. Hey wasn't Stevie Ray on tour with Clapton when he died?

I'll graverob his skull and post it on ISH if I have to. That is a fake screenshot. The only solution to this is Masroor posting on ISH saying he is alive. Other than that, those are false. Afghans are never wrong

You've been sonned, son.

I really need to add some SRV to my collection. Where should I start?

Everything he's ever touched, but first album for starters.

My first SVR album was Live Alive, and I think that is a pretty good starting point.

It's not his greatest performance, but well rounded.

What direction do you think his music would have moved if he were still alive?
