I have listened to every report and read alot of articles saying that he is definitely coming over to the nba this season.

There's too much gone on for Rubio to stay in Europe now. He basically has no choice but to play in the NBA.

Time for oddsmakers! Chances that Q will want a buyout from the griz?

A Buyout is always possible with this team but I'm leaning towards no this time. Q still has a good jumper and we are pathetic as a team from the 3. Also as his contract is expiring it would make more sense for the Grizz to shop him around at the trade deadline as teams will be doing everything they can to get some cap for the 2010 summer.

So since we drafted Thabeet, do y'all think the griz are entertaining the idea of trading Marc? I hope to god not.

No. Darko got traded to accommodate Thabeet. There is absolutely no need to trade Gasol.

Actually a buyout won't be necessary. Richardson in the last year of his deal and the last year is a player option. It is up to him on if he wants to play here or not.

I think if Thabeet came out and played awesome, then it would be easier to trade Gasol. He is a good player and could be used to pick up a good PF in a trade.

I don't think this should happen right away. I don't know if Thabeet will make that an option. For right now, we have to hold on to Gasol b/c hes proven himself and we have no idea how our newest C will hold up.

Why do you want to trade gasol so bad?

I don't want it to happen at all.

But we do have 2 young centers. One who is more gifted offensively. And one who has just been selected number 2 overall for his defense.

I like Marc Gasol a lot. I didn't want Thabeet because of Gasol.

I'm just pointing out that if Thabeet plays well like the Front Office is banking on, it will make Marc Gasol more expendable to the team.

It has nothing to do with whether I want to get rid of Gasol or not.
