Default Why cant we close the deal?

Since the days of Drexler, Porter, Kersey, Williams and the Duck, I have watched my Blazers collapse in the 4th. Over the years, the faces have changed but the trend continues. This year looks alot like the years before and even though Tuesday night was only a pre-season game, the same old demon reared its head again. For the first 2+ quarters we looked GREAT and dominated the court. But, we ended up giving away 20 turn overs and the game!! What is the deal? Are we cursed or what??

Dropping him won't help, you'll need to aquire someone of value.

Trading Zach just isnt going to happen. A: He has a huge contract nobody wants, and B: management still believes he is the go-to guy, he is going to carry the team. Maybe at seasons end, they will realize he just cant carry the team and we will either trade him or make him PART of the offense and not the FOCUS of the offense.

Well, honestly. I'd like to see them trade Z-Bo later in the year, probably to a team who will have 4 go down. Like Minnesota missing KG, Houston who needs a credible starting PF (Howard doesn't cut it for me) to try and win the title. NY would probably take Z-Bo as I don't really think Isaah is sold on Lee or Rose.

There are plenty of places Z-Bo could go. Miles is a different story. Nobody will take him so he either needs to Shawn Kemp his way out of town or get waived and pray that somebody picks him up so you can get that contract off the books.

Zach is a good starting PF. I'd put him as top 5 in the West behind KG, Marion, Duncan and Nowitzki but thats just me.

He can score, rebound and his defense is steadily improving.

The 4th quarter thing is something thats comes from having a young team. They rarely fell apart when they had Steve Smith, Bonzi, Rasheed, Damon, Sabonis, Pippen because they had veteren leadership, an outside threat, and a couple guys who can change the momentum in a snap.
