well it was actually kind of one long injury, patella tendon just like bynum that he had problems with, although the hip surgery this month is there too... i just don't know, anytime a player has that much trouble with one injury it raises red flags i imagine

Great read gts I would agree the RED flag should be out on this guy. Just my opinion...We learn something everyday about NBA players. Thanks for the update dude...

exactly they don't want him at the cost of having his cap hold in place.. by waiving his rights it takes the cap hold off, and brings down their salary by ten million dollars.
they lose bird rights but evidently they were not going to be giving him an offer that bird rights would come into effect.
they can still sign him but just not to a max contract or 6 year contract, both of which they probably wouldn't have done anyways?
