Default A few 2009 NBA Draft prospects may have some health concerns

Quote:
-The medicals of various NBA draft prospects, including Missouriís DeMarre Carroll, who may need a liver transplant in the near or long-term future, DeJuan Blair, whose knees and arthritic condition are a major concern to certain teams, and A.J. Price, who reportedly still has an aneurysm in an artery of his brain that could become a serious issue later in his career.

Thats tough for each player, Carroll espescially because he may be on the Draft fence and a liver transplant is definetly life threatening.

Why would he need liver transplant? Anyone knows?

I thought Carroll's liver problem was a previous problem and not something that has been recent? Kind of like Darrell Arthur last year. Teams were affraid of his condition, but it wasn't really a problem at all.

Either way, I'm glad that Memphis decided to pick both of these players (Carroll and Arthur), yet passed on Blair twice, due to his health issues.
