yeah, but there's no hockey players on the international top 20 either.
Of those 20, only four play in U.S.-based leagues, led by perennial powerhouse David Beckham, who is back in Major League Soccer with the Los Angeles Galaxy at least through the end of this season.
So if you really even wanna count the MLS, therea re 4 and technically only 3 who dont play soccer or fight or drive a car.
Why do golfers make so much money off of endorsements?
because golfer's actually play their sports with endorsements all over them. sure, nba players have shoes, but how often do you look at their feet? golfers are on the tv for 4 days, 4 hours each day, with a big "KPMG" logo across their hat, a "NIKE" swoosh on their t-shirt, a "Calloway" towel on their golf bag, etc, etc. When a golfer is on screen playing the game, you basically see, vividly, at least 1 company they are endorsing. that can't be said for other sports. and that's probably also the reason that some of these nascar driver's have huge endorsements as well.

Its funny how overpaid NBA players are, I mean Vince Carter and Steve Francis made more money than Tom Brady and there's only one NFL player in the top 10 (Peyton Manning).
