Restricted Free Agents that I have interest in:

Glen Davis - would probably cost the MLE, Boston not likely to match that, of course we could have got a very similar player/better defender in the draft if we'd taken DaJuan Blair.....
Aaron Gray - would be a solid 3rd center
Linas Kleiza
David Lee - I'm interested, but not really sure where he fits on our roster
Nate Robinson - not big on his personality, but I did recently read where Coach Nate and Brandon Roy are pretty big on getting him.

Unrestricted free agents I'm interested in:

Mike Bibby
Juwan Howard - professional, veteran backup PF
Dahntay Jones - solid on-ball defender, proven while defending CP3 and Kobe in the playoffs
Antonio McDyess - professional, veteran backup PF/C
Chris Mihm - potential 3rd center
Shelden Williams - was a freaking lottery pick, maybe give him a try out???
Chris Wilcox - maybe the Blazers can get some consistency from this guy as a backup PF??? Very talented, not real focused.
Robert Swift - has potential, his body has matured since he came out of Bakersfield, CA as a high schooler, has been injured - would like to see him in a Blazers uniform.
Andre Miller - would be an upgrade for us, but has to be at the right price
Matt Barnes - like his game and the fact that he didn't complain in Phoenix when his time was limited and they were losing - hate his freaking tats though
Grant Hill - total professional
Stromile Swift - has really struggled everywhere he's been, had a tragedy of some sort last season (I believe it was the death of his Mother), he could be a solid backup PF/C type
Shawn Marion - would be willing to sign him to a 3 year deal at $6 per, no more
Jake Voshkuhl - 3rd string center, can play a little PF

Default Re: 2009 Free Agents

You know, there are some decent free agents out of those that would be nice for the right price, but I feel like none of them would be homerun fits on this team. I'm just hoping for a lopsided trade at this point since we can take in more salary than we trade.

Mike Bibby
Ramon Sessions
Glenn Davis
Brandon Bass
Chris Andersen
Drew Gooden
Matt Barnes
Lamar Odom

That's my list

But I'd like to see no free agents sign and see KP pull a deal for either Caron Butler or Gerald Wallace.

Agree 100%, especially after losing Hedo. Gerald Wallace is a very underrated player and would really excite alongside the talented and athletic Blazer roster. Caron Butler is a nasty scorer, I love watching him play operate on offense. He can really attack from all over, as well as on and off the ball.

Check this blog out. Absolutely hilarious, and will ease the pain of losing Hedo.
