Who do you think we should get as a backup point? Think about these aspects. We need a veteran backup who has experience, who brings leadership on and off the court, and is willing to be Conley's backup. Also, to help push Conley to be a thread to his starting job.
I always liked Jacque Vaughn. He is the kind of PG that is always under control and would help Conley a lot IMO. I don't know if he is still under contract with the Spurs.
We could just send Stoudamire (Damon) out there. Just give him a uni to put on under his suit and when we need him to come on he can just jump up, rip his suit off, a la Superman, and then save the day.

I like Carter better than Vaughn. Both are old as hell, but Carter can play better D.
I was surprised that Carter shot an awful % from 3 last year. I thought he "learned" to shoot when he got to Denver.
I don't like Dixon. Ivey, I don't know, I haven't seen him play enough to make a fair judgement. I also like Anthony Carter, he could be a good addition too.

Whats wrong wit dixon. He is a good size, he can shoot, he has a good iq, has good passing ability and he knows how to play his role. He is also barely 30 which means that he is just coming out of his prime.

I watched in the raptors several times a few years ago, and the offensive flow when Dixon was at the point was really bad from what I remember. He is supposed to be all the things you mention, but then when it comes to team game, i never felt he was the right man to be at the point.

Ok well I have only seen him live from when he played at washington year ago. So I cant comment on him from toronto.
yall should get Telfair.Minn obviously are goin into a different direction. As for Ivey,I grew up with him and i still say no lol.i'd love to see him get anotha contract but he's so so.Telfair or Ramon Sessions...n honestly they cud end up yall starters cuz ya boy Conley is suspect sometiimes
Since Lowry turned into Carroll, and a good backup at the 3 was needed, I can't complain. But as long as Conley improves, Lowry would still be the perfect backup.
