Default Nate Robinson going to Greece?

Apparently Olympiakos is targeting Nate Robinson with a boatload of cash (use your Google translator to read it). As they did a season ago with Josh Childress, the Greek team is hoping to sign Robinson as another ticket-seller, who would easily be a bigger star there. According to the story -- loosely translated -- Olympiakos may also consider a run at Ramon Sessions, who is a restricted free agent with the Bucks.

I wanted to know what everybody in the International forum thought of this. I like the idea of more NBA players in Europe. It always excites me. :)

He will be another overpaid bust for Olympiacos just like Childress and Pargo were. To win the Euroleague/Greek League/Greek Cup you have to be a team at a very high level (higher than several NBA playoff teams) and if you try to feature guys like Childress and Robinson in order to do so - you simply don't have a good enough team to win.

So it's really nonsensical to pay these huge contracts to these guys. Especially when players like Siskauskas and McIntyre are available for less money, play the same positions as Robinson and Childress and are definitely better players as well.

Is it true that the nba can take as much as 10% of a player's salary.

Olympiacos is continuing to look into the NBA to find its talent. I give Childress another year before we decide how much of an impact he really had. Nate-Rob can get a lot more money over in Europe and he could play large roll on the Reds. I think the signing could be very good because Nate is an explosive offensive player and could continue to be in the Euroleague. Yes. They already did it for all players this season.

He's not. Olympiacos finally got smart and is going after McIntyre (who is much better) instead.
