We need Sonny. He's buffed up a lot since his PBL/early PBA days, and he's improved a lot.

I think James Yap should belong to the starting five and Gabe to come off the bench. James Yap fits in an international games, where his shooting will be a key factor.

Hasn't he been a bit inconsistent lately, though?

The Philippines National team defeated the Sri Lankan National Team, 115-31.

Great Game from Jared Dillinger 21 points, 11 rebounds. I hope the Powerade Team Pilipinas will improve their Free Throw and 3 points shooting because Japan and Korea are 2 of the best teams in Asia.

The scores:

Team Pilipinas 115 – Dillinger 21, Santos 16, Taulava 15, Aguilar 15, Baguio 15, Thoss 11, Norwood 8, Helterbrand 5, Miller 5, Raymundo 4, Pennisi 0.

Sri Lanka 31 –
Rajapakshe 8, Fernando 8, Danawansa 7, Senanayake 4, De Silva 2, Perera 2.

Quarterscores: 28-9; 44-17; 86-26; 115-31.

Next Game is againts the powerhouse Japanese National Team.

Replay of the Sri Lanka and Philippines Game.

Honestly, that Ha Seung-Jin doesn't really seem THAT DAMN good to me. I'm not sure if it was an old game or so, but he got shut down by that El-Khatib dude from Lebanon, if I remember right.

Kyo Sup Lee is the best player of the Korean National Team. He's a 6'6" Forward, and he's currently leading his team in Scoring.

I think Gabe Norwood should guard him because he's quick, very athletic for a 6'4- 6'5" SG/SF.

I just realized right now that Coach Yeng was resting Japeth for Ha.

That's possible...maybe coach yeng is just hiding japeth so that the koreans can't scout him....

Korea defeated Philippines, 69-56.

Great Game from Cryus Baguio, Mick Pennissi, and Asi Taulava, but our shooters struggled from the 3 points line.

Our next game is againts the Chinese Taipei National Team on Monday.

team pilipinas just couldn't handle the shooters of s. korea......also, they missed a LOT of open jumpshots and freethrows.....this could have easily been a close game of only they made those shots...anyways, the tourney is far from over....

Great win againts the Chinese Taipei National Team,77-70.

Former League MVP's James Yap and Willie Miller were our best players today.
