wow i dont know why i thought he averaged 12 ppg. i thought he did in one of those larry brown seasons. but nevermind. it was under 10 ppg.
but yeah, aside from his ppg his numbers have been going down pretty consistently for the last three years. and since hes not in the game for offense its his other numbers that are the most important in my oppinion. he's still good at rebounding and blocking shots, just not as good as he used to be.
even the chicago front office admits they overpaid for him, but they were willing to do that to get him. we'll see how it works out. everybody already knows what i think about that.
yeah this forum is a lot more active
mainly becouse the city of chicago actually has people in it
good luck with the devil's night thing coming up, hopfully your city doesn't burn too bad this year
nice smalldick provincialism. Having lived in both cities they are both ****ty urban wastelands. CHicago might have a shinnier coat but cmon, go hang around the former Robert Traylor homes and tell me about how great and crime free your chitty is
Ben was brought into Chicago for two main reasons, a good defensive presence and veteran leadership. We all no he's no tremendous scorer, but if he can average close to 9 points a game that would be more than what is expected of him. I'm sure that he'll try to improve on his offense in Chicago so that he makes a good impression. He should have a fresh start.
Wow, 15 mil per for "a good defensive presence and veteran leadership". Seems a little pricey
Yeah he is overpaid, but he essentially replaced Tyson Chandler when he was bought in. Chandler made 10 Mil a year I think it was, so I would much rather have ben making 15 mil for 4 years then Tyson and his 10 mil.
At first I didnt like the move at all, but he is a perfect fit for the Bulls, so i'm ok with it now that I think about it.

you don't have to be a thugged out cat to live by the projects in chicago, the taylor homes were right by the university of illinois at chicago, little italy is right there
cabrini greens is across the street from $300,000 condos
i never said i'm was a grimey cat at all, you can see my name up on the sides of buildings billboards as you ride the train though

ben wallace is going to be great on the bulls, he fits in perfectly
hustle is the name of the game

the pistons will still be good this year
in my opinion the bulls and pistons will fight for the top seed in the central east
this season will be crazy
