huh, I guess John Hammond is still really high on all the younger pistons players. Sharpe is intriguing, especially if he recovers from this knee injury. Very different bucks team this year, lots of young potential that may or may not work out.

Well, now the Bucks wont be the worst team in the NBA. Great trade on their part. These guys will be legit additions.

Yes, and I'm pretty sure that's all there is to this trade. Nuggets get a veteran 12th man, and Bucks picked up a non guaranteed contract. Sort of funny to see this trade stickied.

Denver gets some much needed veteran size & Mil gets some young pieces to add to its roster. Good trade for both sides.

This trade is good for the players involved also. Allen wasn't getting much playing time with the Bucks, and Sharpe and Weems were destined to spend this next season in and out of the Development League. Now, all three will probably get playing time and show what they can do.

I highly doubt Allen gets any time.

You may be right. But, if the Nuggets don't bring on another PF/C they won't have much choice but to play him. They have no other big man right now, to relieve Nene and Martin. Birdman is tall, but weighs only about 230 lbs. Balkman is even lighter.

They just really need a big who can score in bunches and Allen just doesn't give them that. They had Petro on the bench for most of last season and he rarely saw time. George Karl is really big on not playing guys for random minutes; he gets a set rotation in training camp and typically sticks with it.

We'll see though.

I agree. Maybe Nuggets management have other cards up their sleeves like they did when they got Billups last year. I've seen rumblings about Jeff Foster of the Pacers, but, I don't know how real that is. Maybe Kleiza for Foster.

Malik Allen is just not very good at all. I can't say I can find one thing that he helped us with last season...

This trade is great for the Bucks.

Apparently the Nuggets management must see something in Malik Allen that others don't. Why else would they make this trade. After all, their GM Warkentein was voted as the Executive of the Year for the past season. He has to have a great vision and a lot on the ball to win such an award. Either that or he has another move he plans to make with Malik.
