I dont think so, thats been said for Salim for awhile now. He has a history of being a poor team player going back to Arizona and his strongest skill set is his shooting.
The problem is that he hasnt learned how to become an effective spot shooter by finding his spots, getting open, catching the ball, and getting his shot off quickly.
Europe fits his game perfectly.

Yup, think we've seen enough of him to say he's not effective in the NBA.

They also waived Bruce Bowen. I think Bowen might be done in the league. If the Bucks waive him that sends out a message.

Hawks didnt offer him a Qualifying offer, he signed with San Antonio, San Antonio cut him, and he then signed with Miwlaukee.

Salim hasn't done anything relevant since hitting that game winner against OSU in 2005. Turns out Deron locking him up in the Elite 8 ****ed the rest of his career.

Guy has been struggling in the league for so long already. He needs to go to Europe to rebuild his confidence and grow as a player. He could be able to be back as a more mature player, ala Maurice Evans, if he can develop his all-around game and not be just an instant offense player.
