Default Kurt Rambis is Officially our coach

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Kurt Rambis have reached terms on a deal that will install Rambis as the Wolves' new head coach, according to NBA coaching sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Wolves are planning a Tuesday news conference to introduce Rambis as the replacement to Kevin McHale, whom Rambis famously tangled with in the 1984 NBA Finals.

Long considered a potential heir apparent to Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson, Rambis has been lured away from Jackson's staff by a four-year deal believed to be worth in excess of $8 million

and so it beings...

Cool, I hope he does a good job like everyone else. Our team doesn't look too bad on paper. I hope one of our rookies turns out to be a stud. I know Kevin Love and Al Jefferson are going to be beasting this year. I can't wait to see them **** up ****. They should play them together a little more this year to test it out. We have the bench players to do it. Our Love/Jefferson front court could go well with a Chucky Atkins/Quentin Richardson and Ryan Gomes line-up. Three shooters/a slasher and 2 low post threats, both who can shoot out to 12 feet. It might not happen, but whatever. I like the idea. Has anybody seen Gomes yet? Is he stonger, bigger, smaller, leaner? I was wondering if we was going to make an adjustment with his weight/body to match up with the 3s better. Hmm.
