I still can't believe a 7 footer could only bench 185 8 times. That is just sad. He is going to either have to play pf for 3 or 4 years or he is going to ride pine.

I guess though that johan petro on my sonics is about 225 and he played center really well for a 19 year old kid. He has way more intensity then aldridge though and he has a nasty streak which I haven't seen from aldrige's game.

part of the reason he can only bench 185 8 times is his 7 foot frame and long wingspan making him have to push the weight farther and more than most people. Also i dont see any problem with his weight, ya he needs to gain some pounds which he will, but he is just below the average(if you dont include shaq in that average) even a power guy like okefor is only 252 (he is bulkier tho too cuz hes only 6'10'', so 15 lbs different and i think okefor was list at 240 coming out or maybe mid 40's but still theres really not much of with his weight. He does need to get bigger and stronger but what rookie doesn't? If anything tyrus thomas needs to gain weight more than aldridge.
