Yeah I know 17 of the first 21 are at home against not so great teams but here are the teams the Lakers have to face in january
@ Portland
@ San Antonio
@ Dallas (back to back)
Orlando
@ Cleveland
@ Boston
To face 4 of the elite teams all on the road in one month is very tough. Really can't believe the Lakers first meeting with all the elite apart from Orlando is on the road first...not much respect for the defending champs. Funny enough the Lakers 2nd meeting with Portland is under a month later again in Portland.
Will be a great challenge...how do you see L.A doing on these road games?
@ 17 of their first 21 games at home AGAIN. What is this, the 10th in a row the league cupcakes their schedule like this?
Is F*CKING ridiculous. Total farcas. Bulls*t.
Just unfair on so many levels.
Having that schedule makes it far WORSE for L.A...it means loads of road games to end the season. Other teams Fans should be happy about that not moaning about it.
nba scheduling is overrated. your opponents are basically set and the same for every team (every other team at least twice, teams in your division 4 times, teams in your conference but not your division either 3 or 4 times), and the season is so long that any stretch that seems easy is wiped out by another one that seems hard and vice versa (as evidence by the lakers beginning easy stretch, then hard stretch in january). its not like the nfl where teams do not play every other team in the league and the season is not long enough to recover (usually) from a tough 3-4 game stretch if you don't do well.

Oh yeah???
You really convinced of this?
If it was disadventagious the the league wouldn't do it. Remember, we are talking about the f*cking cupcake Lakers here. The soap opera organization of the league.
@ your ignorance. If the Lakers are playing 17 of their first 21 at home then who's playing on the road?
The East.
And you think those teams want to start the seaon on road trips??
You epitomize spoiled-Laker-Fan-ilia. You are a joke just like your franchise. You're so used to having sh*t handed to you (like other teams best players), that you don't even know when you have it good. Total ignorance.

Worst fanbase in sports.
how's that first Cavs championship working out for you? Lakers sure did fail this past season didn't they...just like you said they would
oh wait
Only a complete idiot would say were Lakers have a january full of tough teams on the road, plus a road heavy schedule to end the season is by your words "having **** handed to you"

Although I see where you are coming from, every Team has a fair schedule with 41 Home Games and 41 Away Games. Well, technically, the Lakers have more Home Games than any Team in the League because they also play the Clippers in the Staples Center, but....

well yeah.
More than any in the league? By that logic the Clippers should at least be equal.

Yeah but people cheer for the Lakers at Clippers games.
And to be honest, having so many games at home to start the season kind of sucks. It'd be better to end the season that way so we'd be rested for the playoffs and teams try harder at the end of the season when they're fighting for a playoff spot/better seeding.
