Ariza thrived under the Lakers' offense as well as playing along the best player in the NBA...so no. it would not have made a difference. The Ariza on the Lakers>>>>>>>>>>>>Ariza on the Magic.

A better question might be......

If Larry Brown not called Trevor Ariza "delusional"..........

See why "if's" don't work??

Yep, it's time for Ariza to really make a name for himself. I hope he's successful.

it was a minor trade at the time, but it ended up bitting orlando in the ass. never trade a player with potential for a scrub like cook.

First of all, it wasn't JUST for Cook. We also got Maurice Evans in the deal, but we needed a big at the time. Ariza was the only asset we had that was able to be traded for a big since Tony Battie was injured (and out for the year).
