Devin Harris is pretty much topped off production wise. His body was barely able to handle the additional scoring responsibilty this year. Brook only attempted 10 per game last year to get his 13 points. His field goal and free throw shooting percentages points to him being able to increase his scoring output with increased opportunites. As a 2nd year player he should receive more respect fromt he refs and get to the line more than his 2.6 trips per game average as a rook. It is also not inconceivable that a player who averaged 8 rebounds, and is a pretty good rebounder, can not add an additional two boards to his average.
Well he'd better get a few more rebounds.
Vince Carter (and Jason Kidd earlier) were a pair of the best rebounding guards of the time they were together.
Now that both are gone, who is going to fill the rebounding void?
Yi may give you 10 boards one night, then 2 or 3 the next.
Harris and Lee definitely are not.
Bobby Simmons? Jarvis Hayes?
Lopez needs to average 10+ for the Nets not to get killed by offensive put backs alone
