Default Better overall career: Karl Malone or Charles Barkley

Better overall career: Karl Malone or Charles Barkley?

I'll go with Malone. More years, more wins, more times to the Finals, more points.

OK

Now out of ALL the VS. thread I have seen on these boards....this has got to be the best one. Both careers are done...both played the same position....both played for the most part in the same era...and both are in the top 50 of all time.

You can bring in the Stockton factor which is a unfair advantage for Malone...but if I had to pick one of them to start a franchise.........
as much as I love Sir Charles I am going with the Mail Man.
And the one factor that gives the Mail Man the edge at least for me was his conditioning which lead to more productive seasons for the Mail Man.

But any how good VS. topic at last.

Used to be Malone until he joined the Fakers.
So, Barkley.

Barkley was the superior player, Malone was in a better situation. Without Stockton, its doubtful that Malone's career would have been as statistically dominant, while Barkley never played with a teammate as good.

Even though statistically Malone wins, I'll still take Barkley because I don't respect Malone as a player, or as a human being.
