haha funny story: we were having this camp here in san antonio and we had to pick up a counselor from the airport who was coming from australia to help out. well when he got here he had this shocked and surprised look on his face. my friend asked him what was the matter, and he said "where are all the horses and wagons? in australia we see movies and pictures about texas and all they show is cowboys and horses." he wasnt even joking, he was dead serious.
i live in texas now, but i used to live in oklahoma. i went to california one year to visit some distant relatives, and they thought that there were still actual indian tribes and that the indians still lived in tepees and tracked down buffalo and stuff like that.
some people are dumb, i heard on the radio this morning that 1 out of every 8 americans dont know that alaska is an actual state.

Thats just downright retarded. I dont know **** about the U.S. but im not stupid enough to think there's any states so outdated.
In western Germany we usually make fun of the states of the former GDR (East Germany), because the talk a weird accent and generally are poor and uneducated
yeah Delaware has the "lower, slower Delaware" tag on it.
one thing about Delaware tho......they have the best economy in the world. as weird as that sounds it's true. pretty much every major corporation is based in DE. pretty much anything you can think of.......ESPN, MTV, etc.

Best economy is an exaggeration. California's economy is something like the 10th strongest in the world (a large part of that coming from Hollywood). But Delaware has pretty relaxed business standards so corporations flock here. They basically just set up an office, though. With the exceptions of the chemical factories. They actually produce in Delaware.
The other good thing about Delaware is that there is no sales tax. But that's pretty much all the state has to offer.
i rag on mass for having the ' mass accent'.. even though i was born and raised one state above, new hampshire...
when i go to chicago, or any midwest state.. people out there say i have the mass accent.. when to me.. the mass accent sounds different when somebody from mass says it haha..
