Default Were these good Moves???

1. My first trade I traded Richard Jefferson and Nenad Kristic for Dwight Howard and Luther Head.

2. I then dropped Head and added Mickeal Pietrus

3. My second trade I traded Kobe Bryant, Sebastion Telfair and Jamaal Magloire for Gilbert Arenas and Jameer Nelson

This is a 10 team league

My team looks like this now:

PG Jameer Nelson
SG Joe Johnson
G Gilbert Arenas
SF Carmelo Anthony
PF Vladimir Radmonivic
F Troy Murphy
F/C Zack Randloph
C Jermaine Oneal
Util Dwight Howard
Bench Andre Igoudala
Bench Darko Milicic
Bench Mickeal Pietrus
Bench Tony Parker
Bench Mo Willaims
What would you rate my moves and team?

Thanks

should not have traded away Kobe... and if it's a 10-team league Radman and Pietrus can be replaced...

I think the Kobe move may turn out to be a good one. Telfair is being pressured by Rondo and Magloire has to fight off Joel Pryzbilia and Raef LaFrentz for playing time. Jameer will be the starter and put up good numbers this season. I'm still concerned about Kobe's scoring production this season with the emergeance of Kwame Brown, the additions of Radmonovic and Farmar, and Kobe's stated objective of playing more team basketball like he did in the playoffs. I usually get a lot of flak for this opinion, but I expect Arenas this season to be about statistically equal to Kobe, or maybe even slightly better.

1st trade not good. 2nd trade good. arenas is pretty much as good as kobe, and 24 may only play 66ish games this season.

I like both trades. You needed the upgraded to Howard. You can always find pretty good bench players to pick up so it's good to trade up.

Jameer and Arenas are good pick ups too.

Well in the first trade, you should've demanded something more than Head if you were just planning on dropping him anyways. Unless you REALLY wanted Pietrus, in which case it was an ok move.

I really like the second trade though. Telfair and Magloire aren't even picked a lot of the time in fantasy, especially in a ten team league. Meanwhile, like Sobe said, Kobe could be putting up lesser numbers in favour of the team game, and he had that surgery, which probably won't affect anything, but there is a slight possibility. Meanwhile, Arenas is basically as close to a sure thing superstar as you can get in fantasy. Not including 2003, he's missed four games in three years, and there isn't really anyone that was added that can take away from his scoring. He'll get you the same stats as last year, if not better.

And Jameer is starting for the Magic and could very well blow up. Overall, they aren't bad trades, although I'd take Nenad and RJ over Dwight and Pietrus, but that's just me.

you have a pretty good team but you have some risky players in your team

3 players from d same team might be an issue if guys like randolph and/or oneal gets injured
PG Jameer Nelson
Bench Darko Milicic
Util Dwight Howard

PF Vladimir Radmonivic - not a fantasy player, drop or trade him
Bench Mickeal Pietrus - big question mark bec of the changes in wariors, but may have a breakout season

injury prone players but big risk high return players
F Troy Murphy
F/C Zack Randloph
C Jermaine Oneal
Bench Mo Willaims

your guards are pretty darn good, and you have 5 pg's. maybe you can package one of them w/ randolph or oneal for another big man to lessen the risky players
SG Joe Johnson -
G Gilbert Arenas
SF Carmelo Anthony
Bench Andre Igoudala - nice player, hopes he gets a lot of touches
Bench Tony Parker

If VladRad isn't a fantasy player then neither is Raja Bell, Kyle Korver or Antwoine Walker. I don't think he'll be able to get another guy on the waiver wire that will get him 2+ 3PTM.
He does currently have a sprained ligament in his shooting hand, but he was promised a starting role to come to the Lakers.
