Then Petrie came under criticism for it but it worked out well and he ended up being valuable to our team.
BTW how about Ronnie Price! That dude is awesome and he's a ton of fun to watch. That putback jam was crazy good, he's a good ball handler and seems like our new BJax IMO.
Theres only been 3 preseason games and I am already regretting questiong petrie's decision making. The man was a genious is pulling of trades like the Webber or the Bmill or the bibby trade; however, as the kings evolved, so did he. He has now became a great judge of talent and getting young players is his greatest strength.
First he brought in damon jones, a guy who came out of no where and became a decent role player who was the starter for the Heat team that could have easily won the championship two yrs ago. Then came guys like kevin martin, who showed signs of being able to play in the nba in his limited minutes in his rookie campaign. Then in his second year, he exploded and emerged as a bonafide scorer. Similarly, Ronnie Price looked good in the minutes he got last year, especially during the end of the year (I was actually hoping he would get the backup pg role before last yrs playoffs, but adelman decided artest would handle the ball more and a PG was not needed.) This year price seems to be emerging as a spark plug off the bench with great energy.
