I was going to go WR-WR in my draft (8th pick) but Andre and Fitz were off the board by 8 and Forte was still there. Done and done. Moss and Megatron went right after my pick so I snagged Chris Johnson next.

how quickly I went from WR-WR to RB-RB...but I think I had to. I managed to get Aaron Rodgers, Portis (in round 4), Braylon Edwards, Anthony Gonzalez, Santonio/Hester and Olsen to round out my normal starters

handcuffed Donald Brown, Leon Washington, and Mendenhall
I'm pretty draft. Lots and lots of value and a nice mix of upside. Of course you have to take Forte @ 8, he could very well be the top player in FF 2009.

As far as Hester vs Holmes they both are facing strong secondaries. The biggest difference is that Hester although an incredible athlete with elite speed isn't a good WR. Holmes is coming off a great post season and is going to have an increased role.

ESPN projections are complete trash. Trust your gut (and mine) and roll with Santonio, he is the smart play.

How many teams are in your league?

10.

I came away from the draft feeling like I had the strongest overall squad despite being rather weak at WR.

Fred Jackson absolutely tore up the New England front 7 to the tune of 136 yards on the ground. Expect TO and Lee Evans to take some pressure off him and him to be heavily involved in the game. He also has something to prove with Marshawn suspended. While it's not a GREAT play he's definitely a serviceable flex option especially in PPR format.

when they ran a real offense

if they come out using this no huddle gimmick it will fail miserably, I think Buffalo is a bottom 10 team this year

I think they are generally better than they appear on paper. Their offense will be better. TO will stretch the field and Lynch and Jackson is a nice 1-2 combo. Their defense although lacking playmakers usually keeps them in most games and is 'solid'. It helps that they place in a mediocre division. I think 8-8 is their ceiling.

Moreno
or
Benson
or
Ochocinco

any thoughts?

I think Ocho is a must start of the 3. He has a lot to prove this season with a healthy Carson Palmer.

I like Moreno a lot and if I knew how involved in the offense he was going to be I'd say this is a no-brainer but considering Moreno is going to be splitting carries and has no designated role I'd roll with Benson who will receive the lion share of the carries.

Your welcome.

Start him with confidence. He will be a top 10 RB in PPR leagues this year and if he receives goal line touches will emerge as an elite back and a first round pick next year.

TE: Zach Miller or Kellen Winslow?

Flex: Devin Hester, Darren Sproles, Derrick Mason or Santiono Holmes?

Edit: Also, since you say bench Grant, Fred Taylor or Ricky Williams?

I usually just go by the projected stats and crap.

Hmm...Miller and Winslow are almost a toss up. I'd start with Miller because SD gave up a lot of production to tight ends last year and Miller faired nicely vs. them in both meetings.

Depending on the format I'd roll with either Derrick Mason or Holmes. In PPR I'd start Mason and in standard scoring I'd learn Holmes.

Tell me how much you love Matthew Stafford. Throwing to Megatron will be heaven for him.
