Who knows - maybe Ty Lue will end up in Minnesota as the third point guard, if Sessions goes back to Buckland.

Then again, the Wolves may buy out Daniels to save money and then they will still need another point guard to back up Flynn.

If Daniels is released, then he can sign with the Hawks as the third point guard with some size.

Darren Collison & Marcus Thornton can both fit as backup guards.... they didn't need Daniels anyway

Westchester alumni! He was on the Comets with Trevor Ariza, Gabe Pruitt, Hassan Adams, and Brandon Heath. What an unstoppable lineup that was. They used to sodomize opposing teams.

Not a big deal, but it's a good move for both teams. Daniels should be able to do more on the Wolves. Hornets offensive weapons are too one-dimensional for PG's who aren't scorers, the effective backups are guys who are willing to shoot a ton like Claxton/Pargo/Jackson. But he is a much better player than he showed last year.

Scott loves Bobby Brown. Songaila has always been a solid player who can hit shots from anywhere and gives good value for his minutes when he's not fouling like crazy. 2 years left on a serviceable big is a good situation because even if he isn't effective after this year, by then he'll be expiring.

Hornets still above the lux tax, but this is another step to help them weather the storm til their awful swingman contracts expire.

So is Darius gonna back up the 4 and 5 now? He would look good in pick and pops with CP.

So much for Ike Diogu breaking out

This is a solid trade for NO, but as an Antonio Daniels fan it sucks to see him go to a team like the T-Wolves. Good luck to him none the less.

TWolves save money, Hornets get a quality big on a reasonable contract who can score and hustle, so it's a good deal for both teams. It's weird, too, that Songaila and Daniels started the year on the same team and even started a few games together in 2008 and maybe at the beginning of the 2009 season. AD was a solid backup combo guard, too, but he's washed up now, although hopefully he'll be able to mentor Flynn or Sessions.

Daniels running Hornets Offense was painful to watch, good Trade. also getting rid of rasual butler was a good move.. diogu, okafor and songalia , Hornets just got tougher in the inside.

wolves continue in their pursuit to play a small ball all-point guards at some point in the next few years.
