Not speaking for today's game, but in the Michigan State game Notre Dame got lucky because MSU was calling stupid plays and choking on clock management. Both were completely out of Notre Dame's hands. All MSU had to do was handle the last few minutes with average competance and Notre Dame would have come up short.

Who cares if it's sluggish and boring?

I'd rather it be that than soft ass, powderpuff play.

The SEC is the toughest conference in the nation.

The good teams will find ways to win, while Notre Dame isn't a true National Championship contender, they are still one of the top teams in the nation. It doesn't matter if you win by a point or one hundred, a win is a win.

No national title nor Heisman will be had by ND.

And to add ND is overrated. Maybe if the hype wasnt there preseason ND is a better team. But ever since being praised, celebrated they havent lived up to the hype. They should have had a season like Michigan.

Jeff is $$$ tho.

It was pretty well known that the national title was never in their grasp, I personally thought Quinn had a shot at Heisman, but he hasn't played as well as I anticipated.

They have only lost one game, and that was to the #2 team in the Nation. They may have been overhyped, but they are still a very good football team. When, and if, they are ever able to recruit a defense, Notre Dame will be a force again, Charlie Weiss has brought the prestige back to the program, it will take time for the recruits to get there, but already in his second season, he has begun to change the program.
