Question Stevenson for starting 2 guard?

So, this is my thoughts on the starting line-up for your Wizards;

PG - Arenas
SG - Stevenson
SF - Butler
PF - Jamison
C - Haywood

I must say, that's a pretty damn good line-up.

I've been following Stevenson for a while and season after season he has been disapointing me...hasn't been showing that "high-school" potential..I really want him to put up numbers this year. Hopefully he will help the Wizards!

Honestly, do you guys think he will pan out for you guys? Are you excited about the signing?

SG-Butler

Blatche is NOT ready to start. Steveson shouldn't start either though. I think they are going to start Songaila at PF with Arenas, Jamison, Butler and Haywood.

Lightbulb Catches a bouquet...

I really think Stevenson is going to start...Butler is just...too much of a small forward to play the shooting guard position.

PG - Arenas
SG - Stevenson
SF - Butler
PF - Jamison
C - Haywood

That's a solid line up. Stevenson could be 4th or 5th option. His "D" is a little overrated though..

Songaila or Blatche... depends on rebounding... whoever can rebound should start... as scoring is not a problem here in Wiz...

That would be a good starting lineup but I wonder, how's going to play the defence on that lineup? Jeffries is gone.. And I somehow feel that Songaila is going to start.. and Steveson brings energy of the bench.

DeShawn played for us for a few years and watching him can cause you to go bald. Some of you will pull your hair out in frustration cuz he's got this freak athletic potential that he never lives up to. During lay-up drills in a game, he'd do show off some of his ridiculous dunks, including an under-the-leg isiah rider one. In games, I remember several times he would do a sick crossover and go in for a monster dunk on some 7 footer. And the very next play he would pull up for an ill-advised 20 footer when he should have driven to the hoop again. Until he learns to play with his head first, i think he should be your 6th man off the bench - he's capable of scoring in bunches.

I remember when the Kings were playing the JAzz and DeShawn almost threw down on Vlade...it was monstrous but it plunkered off of the rim...if that went down... ..phew boy..His whole body was scrunched shaped like a "C" ready to rock the tomahawk.

They won't get alot of rebounds, but they won't get any less than last year. Only difference is Stevenson instead of Jeffries, and since Jeffries averaged less than 5 rebounds a game last year it won't make much of a difference.

When are you guys going to realize Blatche is not that great and will not be starting for us anytime soon, we have better hopes for Pecherov next year than Blatche developing anytime soon.
