The Lakers signed four forwards today, including former UCLA standout Michael Fey, boosting their roster to 17 players for the start of training camp Tuesday. The NBA champions also signed Tony Gaffney, Mickael Gelabale and David Monds.
Fey played last season in the United Arab Emirates. Gaffney and Monds each played for the Lakers' summer league team in Las Vegas. Gelabale played for the D-Fenders, the Lakers' developmental league team last season.

Mickael Gelabale could do well and make it...who knows.
He reminds me a lot of Marquis Daniels. Maybe it's just the hair. oh well.
But the way he runs, plays etc. he looks like Daniels.
I saw Micheal Fey play in UCLA. he is SF in a 7-footer's body tho. Soft hands etc, unfortunately, he plays really SOFT overall, no rebounding or tough defense whatsoever.

damn that sucks...lol
Imagine those guys reading that?
Nah, all it would do is give them a reason to prove everyone wrong. I don't think it would hurt their confidence. Maybe that would show that nobody has trust in them yet, but trust has to be earned. Trust is built through hard work and doing the unexpected by disproving the naysayers. No, I do hope those guys read this article and know what it takes to put on the purple and gold.
P.S. I do think that one of these guys have the potential to take the spot from MBenga. MBenga is not all that special when he plays. It is true that he knows the system after being in it for a couple seasons, but that is not a big deal imo. If one of these forwards can do play defense, score and have size, there is not much else necessary.
