After getting left by the wayside in the wake of the DC relaunch, Adam Beechen's Batman Beyond comic book series is now officially slated for a return.
Instead of a traditional ongoing series like the last volume was, Batman Beyond Unlimited will be a monthly print publication that collects the digital-first weekly chapters of Justice League Beyond and Batman Beyond. This means that the individual chapters of each series will be available ahead of time via the DC Comics app. Though no price was mentioned in the announcement, previous comics that were released in this manner (Beyond the Fringe and Batman: Arkham Unleashed) retailed for .99 cents per chapter.
Beechen will be joined by artist Norm Breyfogle on Batman Beyond, while Justice League Beyond will be written and drawn by Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs.
Batman Beyond Unlimited will begin publication in February 2012.

Re: official comic book thread
So Ghost Rider, X-23, and Daken have all been cancelled. Really hope X-Factor isn't cancelled, though the last issue ended on such a cliffhanger.
I wonder if New Mutants will be cancelled. It's been pretty lame the last two issues and i'm not sure how well it sells.

X-Factor is probably safe,
as Christos Gage put it

Look at X-FACTOR, one of the books considered in the "danger zone" by this article. It's been selling at this level for years. YEARS.
If a book is profitable, as X-FACTOR is, and it stays at the same level, canceling it is taking money out of your own pocket.
and add to the fact that Havok and Polaris will be returning to it, i think it gets a bump back up in sales.

these books would be better off as a limited series every few years. there's just not enough interest to sustain an ongoing series. daken was good at first but this latest storyline was dumb.
