Default OT: Why no NBC NFL Sunday Night game?

Can anyone explain why NBC is taking a "week off" and not showing a Sunday Night Game this week?

Someone explain to NBC that "bye weeks" are only relevant to the actual NFL teams....not the networks.

Anyone have an answer why no game? There has NEVER been no Monday Night Football as long as I can remember....

I think they made a huge mistake skipping a game this week. Many people would rather watch a good NFL game instead of this World series match-up.

Wouldn't Game 7 of the WS be NEXT Sunday? So aren't they gonna conflict potentially anyway?

I don't think NFL would do MLB a "favor" by taking a week off for WS...I don't know....

maybe Costas will tell us why at beginning of NBC show at 7.

Cardinals whooped their ass last night, and have 3 of the next 4 in St Louis, its gonna be a good series.

Plus, they have Chris Carpente.r going tonight, a Top 3 pitcher in baseball
