LOL...well My email address had lakerfreak in it and it was pretty much a self proclaimed name because i always wore lakers jerseys to my senior year in HS to show I still supported them.

So my HS teachers and some college people address me by lakerfreak.

Its like an unnofficial name.

But i dont have a girlfriend

Sad but don't be like me! Able to beat everyone on the HS team and College coach bugging my brother to get me to join the team, and then I get my girl pregnant and have to give all that up and start working.

Which is a good thing according to Tom Leykis (The professor of Poon) @ 19 your not suppose to be committed to just 1 girl aslong as your getting laid that's all that matters. You're going about it the right way Lakerfreak and as Tom Leykis (The Master Debater) would tell you "I'm proud of you just like as if your my own son".

Sure why not people learn from their mistake and hopefully others, do you know how many kids had to quit the idea of going to college and/or playing the sport they love, just because of one mistake! No birth control= bigger responsibility.

Be cool stay in school!!!

I thought this thread was about who will make the lakers this year. When did it turn into a life lesson.

Wafer and Pinnock definitely aren't NBA material and never will be in my book. Half of the Centers in the league have more range and a better jumpshot than Pinnock, how's this guy going to help us?

The Jury is still out on Devin Green, he has talent but is very raw and makes typical rookie mistakes, his basketball IQ isn't up to par and he's got a horrible jumpshot, but I could see him making the squad next year if he works on a few minor things, it would definitely be better to keep him than Mckie, although the only time I would want him to play is in garbage minutes, he needs to get a decent jumpshot if he wants to make it in the NBA or else we'll be playing 4 on 5. Mckie has an expiring contract that's valuable to the team and we should trade him by the deadline along with Cook and/or Mihm depending on how Bynum plays and if both him and Kwame are healthy. Turiaf should take all of Cook's minutes at PF.

I was not bagging on your situation mario. sounds like you were responsible and are around for your kid. that takes great character. kids are awesome despite some sacrifices.

I have a couple of female friends who got pregnant and their dudes just bailed.

Props man!
