I can't take a name like this seriously.

Well, he is articulate. He got straight A's all through H.S. and College, and is pursuing a job as a news anchor, which you have to be articulate in order to communicate to an audience. No one said he is "articulate for a Black Man"... they just said he is articulate. Which he is. Some people reading way too into it.

But why does everyone act all surprised that a black man is articulate? You know there's so much more to "us" than the bull***** you see on B.E.T

Sure, Tiki is very articulate and smart, yet there is still some abnormalities in his overall demeanor. That's the point I'm making. Kinda like the singer Sisqo.

Exactly my point. I'm the type of person that ONLY plays the race card when I absolutely feel it's worth it, because I feel that if you do it at the wrong times, it weakens the impact of discussing racial issues.

However, in this case, i feel it's worth bringing up because I have NEVER heard someone say of a white person that they "speak so well". NEVER.

I have, however, heard this many many times when talking about black people.

I don't feel that people who do this are necessarily racist, only that they've been brought up in this society that overtly and subtly engages in racist stereotyping.

Tiki Barber is a great football player and so is his brother. But I guess we all know that since he's getting hated on at a basketball website.

First player in NFL history with 1,800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in one season - This stat alone gives him a good chance along with the rest of his stats.
