And that trade isn't bad, but I'd ask for Hinrich rather than Duhon. Plus it gets LaFrentz off our hands. Not the best, but not bad assuming Pierce really wanted to leave.
I have a feeling that the Bulls wouldn't trade Hinrich along with the #2. I wouldn't. I would put Hinrich as the 2nd best young point guard in the league, behind Paul.
The Bulls trade idea isn't a bad one, he's not as good as Hinrich but Duhon has a lot of positives (good character, has some leadership qualities, defends well, and knows how to play point at a relatively young age). Along with grabbing the second pick and moving Raef's bad deal it'd be hard to turn down. But I'd still like to see us hang on to P.
Haha. If Morrison were to become a Celtic and blossom, that would tickle David Stern's prostate for sure.
Oh, and Antoine Walker is dead on. Paul Pierce could've been a Blazer, but he used his stroke to kill that talk. This was a Blazer squad that was still decent.
why? celtics are just like the sixers... iverson and pierce are not good enough to bring these teams anywhere with the way they are currently constructed... they will maybe get you the 8th seed, or more than likely, won't get you in the playoffs, but will ensure that you are good enough not to get a solid pick in the draft.
if either boston or philly can get a top 3 pick + mega salary relief and a young player for their star... they should jump on it.
but as a raptor fan, i have no problem with these two teams remaining average/below average for the next 4-5 years.
who outside of boston is excited about any of these players?
the best teams in the league all have star bigmen... boston has no player capable of being a star coming through the pipes... if they moved pierce for a top 3 pick and some salary relief... they just may be able to get one.
For now, but stay tuned. And aside from Bosh, you have.....what? That hairless guy who's no better than Ryan Gomes?

Jefferson and Green both have star potential.
Celtics Criticism (CC for short) basically anonts ro NKHGAJI (Not Knowing How Good Al Jefferson Is.) That's OK though. I can forgive ignorance (stupidity is another matter though.) You'll all find out soon enough.
IMO they will only move Peirce if they can get rid of Wally and/or Reaf.
Boston needs to find a way to get rid of there bad contract if they want an chance at winning.
