I would slide the raps up a little higher than that. From a talent perspective, they have top ten talent on their team with a great well rounded starting five and depth at most positions.
Also, I would put the Rockets next to dead last. The have NO offense at all.

I think you may have PHX a bit too high... I don't think they're going to be much good this year.
That was my initial reaction too,but... After looking over the list, I can't really find any teams I'd feel supremely confident in moving ahead of them.
If they are 100% they are #2 behind LA. 4 Championship core adds RJ, Blair, and Mcdysse? Fuggedaboutit
1 - Lakers (defending champs)
2 - Spurs (rebuilt, stronger, younger, faster)
3 - Cavs (Lebron, nuff said)
4 - Magic - (last years runner up, added vince, but lost turk/lee)
5- Boston (lots of unanswered questions.. Kg's health, this team is very old and slow, can they keep up with the great young contenders?)
I think Detroit should be below Washington. They have some scorers, but what else will they be able to do? They don't have the toughness of Dice and Sheed that they had last year. Getting Big Ben back isn't going to mean all that much.
Flip Saunders will have the Wiz with a better record than Detroit. I don't think Miami improved their team much... It will be hard for them to reach 5th seed again. If Wade misses more than 8-10 games, they could have a flat out terrible season.
